Moving from No Child Left Behind to Every Child a Graduate
At United Way of the Midlands’ Fall Community Assembly on December 9, national education expert Bob Wise, gave a frank assessment of the state of education reform in South Carolina and commented on ways we can all work to improve education. “I see a state that is looking at itself in the mirror and is willing to deal with what it sees,” Wise said. “Not everyone else is doing that. You’re setting standards that are among the highest in the nation – don’t back off.”
